Faculty : The Department has four Korean professors and several lecturers. Each professor teaches and conducts research on poetry, novels, drama, and linguistics. There are 5-7 native English professors from the USA, Canada, Australia, the Philippines and other English-speaking countries. Native English professors are recruited each year on the basis of their Christian commitment and teaching proficiency. For faculty profiles and boards, go to http://kosineng.com

Admission : The new academic year starts on the first week of March, and students are recruited several times throughout the year. Early admission is in September, and late admission is in December. Each year about 50 students are accepted on the basis of their high school grade and the national exam score. For admission, call 051-990-2278 (Department Office).
Student Activities : Kosin English students have a chance to act or serve in the English drama club, JUICE, each year. They can also work for the publication of an English magazine, Kosin Herald. The department also organizes an English conversation club and a translation / interpretation club.

Curriculum : The English Department tries to offer the best courses possible. The Department requires students to take English conversation and composition classes each semester. The Bible and biblical literature, British and American literature, grammar and linguistics are three major tracks of coursework.
